The sofa is constructed from separate components that have been independently produced to optimize comfort, quality, and efficiency. Its development was guided by the goal of creating a durable piece of furniture that would meet the criteria for the Nordic Swan Ecolabel within the European market. The frame is crafted from FSC-certified wood, and the upholsteries are EU-Ecolabelled for the Eco version.
The sofa’s seat and cushions are carefully proportioned for optimal comfort, with identical side cushions that provide a sense of harmony and allow for multiple comfortable sitting or lying positions. The frame has a strong, elegant profile with an architectural quality. Arbour’s logical construction and uncluttered design language combine to create a distinctly Scandinavian aesthetic, while maintaining great comfort and durability. The Atlas, Remix, Surface By Hay, Fiord, Steelcut, Steelcut Trio, Melange Nap, Divina, Divina Md, Divina Melange, Re-Wool, Canvas, Hallingdal, Lila, Raas, and Vidar textiles are EU-Ecolabelled and approved for the Nordic Swan Ecolabelled Arbour.
